Retina-Labs RD (Les Laboratoires de la Rétine RD) is a health service dedicated to promoting and facilitating access to screening the main causes of blindness in the industrial countries: macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.

Their objective is to reach to people at high risk for severe visual loss by making reliable medical screening available for these diseases and through timely diagnosis and treatment, stop preventable vision loss. To make this screening service translate to true health benefits, Retina-Labs RD (Les Laboratoires de la Rétine RD) try to ensure, as much as is possible, timely referral of patients to their ophthalmologist when indicated or to an ophthalmologist in their area if they do not currently have an ophthalmologist. They also provide a written report to all concerned treating physicians of the screened person. Retina-Labs RD (Les Laboratoires de la Rétine RD) commit to follow the Quebec College of Physicians Code of Deontology. All immediate employees of Retina-Labs RD (Les Laboratoires de la Rétine RD) must commit in writing to conform to this code.
